The chairman of the Football League has spoken of the structures of our country: "We have the most outdated park stages of Europe". In many countries, the stadiums are financed with public money, but Beretta is not the best solution: "We do not want to take a citizen".
ROME - Maurizio Beretta, after returning to snow-Chievo Bologna, he returned to talk about the stages of the Italian football system. A Radio Anch'io Sport on Radio 1, the president of Serie A football league, said: "Our system has arrived at the terminal stages, is the rope. We must look to more efficient countries where the stadiums are owned by the companies that have the overall responsibility and which represented a quantum leap is very important for all those that revolve around the football". Beretta underlined the inefficiency of the structures of our country, stressing that:
"We park the most outdated stadiums in Europe, and this is no longer acceptable. The stages should live all week, have their registered offices of the club, the museum must allow fans to experience a slice of football as well the game. The legal framework for the stadiums, the Senate unanimously voted a year ago, lies in the House. However, there are signs that these days can quickly take the last part of the journey".
In many countries, the stadiums are financed with public money, but given the difficult time the Italian financial need groped other ways: "In this country's current situation and public finance would be wrong to ask for just one euro to the public purse, so we want to make the stage without taking a euro to the public.
Of course, nothing is built from scratch, it takes resources, the idea is to have the opportunity to build something related to the stadium, but parameterised investment. The dimensions are decided by the municipality and other political actors that participate in the program. The stadiums do not generate profits not only today, but accumulate debts".
The number one of the Football League back then on the postponement of the race in Bologna, stressing that more advanced systems should be introduced to prevent this from happening: "The sheet was, although in 2010 it would take fields and stadiums heated with different architectures. And a quantum leap has to be done. The problem of land is always the same, because the truth is that the maintenance of the pitch, in most cases, it is up to municipalities. We are always looking to solicit".
